As my Grandmother Said, “if you can’t say something nice, shut the hell up!”

Ok, those might not have been her exact words, but they certainly apply to some the comments I have been seeing on Facebook lately.  Some people have forgotten the premise of “friends”.  Just yesterday a young lady was actually crying by a comment that was made about her post.  My Facebook Friends are a great group of people who I have thoroughly enjoyed sharing with, but there are a few people getting a little mean-spirited.  Good spirited debate is a good thing, but you can’t make it personal.

Complainers, negative people and those that never pass up an opportunity to say something negative are ‘crap magnets’.  They attract crap into their lives by being so negative.  The problem is if you stand too close to them or spend too much time with them the crap bounces off of them and gets into your life.  There is a magic button on Facebook at the bottom of everyone page called REMOVE, if someone is crap magnet, it time to end your Facebook friendship.  Life is too short to cry over social media friendship’s comments!

  1. Amen, thus goes for comments on photos also, sometimes the ‘model’ can see the comments. A personal message is always a better alternative than showing the whole world what an idiot you are!
