There is a Difference between a Beautiful Portrait in the WildFlowers and Sitting in Some weeds!

I don’t know if it is the time of year or I just notice it more since we have done all the posts on portraits in the wildflower but I see more and more profile photos taken out in the fields.  There are some that look nice, but some of these images look like a person sitting in a field of weeds!  Whether it was a person having a friend take them or if they hired a newer photographer or soccer-mom the difference in look is found in the lighting.   Many photographers that are new to our profession, as well as people trying to take their own wildflower photos simply sit down in the middle of a bunch of weeds with the sun in their face.  If you are taking photos like this, wait until late in the afternoon when the sun is low in the sky.  The light will be much better!  Also look for areas that have flowers at different heights so you see color in all the green.  This way they look like flowers and not weeds.  If all else fails, you can call the studio and I will make sure you and the flowers look
